French drug smuggler to arrive home after 18 years in Indonesian custody

JAKARTA (AFP) – A Frenchman who served 18 years in custody for smuggling drugs into Bali was expected to arrive home on Sunday (July 22) after he was deported in a case that sparked outrage in France over Indonesia’s tough narcotics laws.
