26 Afghan soldiers killed as Taleban storms another military base

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (AFP) – At least 26 Afghan soldiers have been killed and 13 wounded in a Taleban attack on a military base in southern Kandahar province, the Defence Ministry said on Wednesday (July 26), the latest blow to the country’s struggling security forces.
