COLOMBO (AFP) – Maldives lawmakers were locked out of parliament Monday (July 24) after President Abdulla Yameen ordered it shut to prevent a vote to impeach his speaker, the opposition said, in the latest turmoil to grip the troubled honeymoon islands.
