Cambodia shuts down US non-government body, expels foreign staff

PHNOM PENH (AFP) – Cambodia on Wednesday (Aug 23) closed a prominent American non-government organisation (NGO) and ordered its foreign staff to leave the country, the latest salvo by Prime Minister Hun Sen against perceived critics before a general election next year.
