China urges Vietnam to be calm and rational about Beijing’s drills in South China Sea

BEIJING/HANOI (REUTERS) – China urged Vietnam on Friday (Sept 1) to take a calm and rational view of its military drills in the South China Sea, after Vietnam expressed opposition, as tension between the neighbours worsened over the disputed strategic waterway.
