China consumer loans surge nearly 30 per cent as debt worries resurface

BEIJING (REUTERS) – China’s outstanding household consumer loans surged nearly 30 per cent by end September from a year earlier, data showed on Friday, a day after its central bank governor issued a strong warning about the risks of rapidly rising debt.
