On Shanghai outskirts, some residents unmoved as China unveils leadership

FENGXIAN, China (REUTERS) – Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke to the country on Wednesday (Oct 25) about “waves of positive energy” from the ruling Communist Party after its twice-a-decade leadership shuffle, but on the rural outskirts of Shanghai, not everyone was riveted to the screen.
