Polls win ‘to boost Abe’s pro-growth policies’

TOKYO • The victory of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s ruling bloc in a weekend election should strengthen his hand in adopting pro-growth economic policies and his pledge to proceed with a scheduled sales tax hike will help reduce debt, Fitch Ratings said yesterday.
