Pregnant elephant ‘poisoned’ in Indonesian palm plantation

BANDA ACEH, Indonesia (AFP) – A pregnant elephant has been found dead in a palm oil plantation on Indonesia’s Sumatra island, in what the authorities suspect was a deliberate poisoning, an official said on Wednesday (Dec 27).
