China to make 90 per cent of contaminated farmland safe for crops by end-2020

SHANGHAI (REUTERS) – China will try to make around 90 per cent of its contaminated farmland safe for crops by the end of 2020, and will also restrict development on a quarter of the country’s territory, Environment Minister Li Ganjie has said.
