Japan mulls compensation for sterilised ‘eugenic’ victims

TOKYO (AFP) – Japanese lawmakers pledged Tuesday (Mar 6) to study compensation measures for thousands of people, some as young as nine, who were forcibly sterilised under a new-defunct eugenics law.
