Lion Air wants to turn airport near Lake Toba into a hub for South Asian tourists

JAKARTA – Indonesia’s largest budget carrier, Lion Air, plans to make North Sumatra’s Silangit airport an air hub for passengers from South Asia travelling to other Indonesian cities as well as Singapore and Malaysia.
