SEOUL (THE KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) – Some 5,000 South Koreans gathered in the city of Ansan for the government’s first memorial remembering victims of the 2014 Sewol ferry disaster on Monday (April 16), which marked the fourth anniversary of one of the country’s worst maritime disasters that claimed the lives of more than 300 people.
