Trade minister Chan Chun Sing to meet counterparts in Tokyo on RCEP deal, as clock ticks down to year-end goal

TOKYO – Trade ministers including Singapore’s Mr Chan Chun Sing will gather in Tokyo on Sunday (July 1) to iron out differences on a 16-nation multilateral trade deal that has taken on added significance with the rise of protectionism.
