Tesla hikes car prices in China as trade war hits carmakers

SHANGHAI (REUTERS) – Tesla has raised prices on its Model X and S cars by more than US$20,000 (S$27,092) in China, automotive news website Electrek reported on Monday (July 9), making it one of the first US carmakers to hike prices in the wake of rising trade tensions.
