MANILA (XINHUA) – A Philippine Airlines (PAL) plane was forced to abort takeoff on Wednesday (Aug 29) after a bird hit the aircraft as it was taxiing for takeoff from Davao international airport in the southern Philippines, the airline’s spokesman said.
