China says it will retaliate if US takes further trade measures

BEIJING (REUTERS) – China said on Wednesday (Aug 1) it will retaliate if the United States takes further steps hindering trade, after a source said the Trump administration proposes slapping 25 per cent tariffs on US$200 billion (S$272.46billion) of imported Chinese goods.
