India rejects UAE government’s US$100 million flood disaster fund offer

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, India (AFP) – India on Wednesday (Aug 22) rejected an offer by the United Arab Emirates government to give US$100 million (S$136 million) to a special fund for Kerala state after its floods which killed more than 400 people.
