Elephant electrocuted in Thailand while begging for food; 15-year-old owner arrested

SAMUT PRAKAN (THE NATION/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) – An elephant was electrocuted while being led by its owner to beg on a street in the Samut Prakan province after it accidentally fell into a road drain and broke a restaurant sign’s power cable.
