Malaysia cannot accept same-sex marriage, says Mahathir

KUALA LUMPUR (REUTERS) – Malaysia cannot accept same-sex marriage or lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights, Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said on Friday (Sept 21), amid growing instances of persecution of LGBT community in the Muslim-majority country.
