KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian government will seek to abolish the mandatory death penalty for 11 offences, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mohamed Hanipa Maidin said in parliament on Wednesday (March 13), according to Malaysian media.
