Hong Kong scoops up 158 tonnes of palm oil; reopens 5 beaches

HONG KONG (Reuters) – Hong Kong has reopened five of 13 beaches closed since last Sunday (Aug 6) following a palm oil spill, after authorities collected more than 150 tonnes of acrid-smelling clumps in one of the Chinese territory’s worst environmental disasters.
