Japan’s Lower House to convene for extraordinary session, Speaker of Parliament to announce dissolution

TOKYO – The Abe Cabinet agreed to dissolve the Lower House for snap polls on Thursday morning (Sep 28), and the Lower House will convene for an extraordinary session later, where the Speaker of Parliament will formally announce the dissolution of the Diet.
