China’s richest man Xu Jiayin built fortune even as debt mountain climbed

HONG KONG (REUTERS) – Named the richest man in China on Thursday (Oct 12) with a net worth of US$43 billion (S$58 billion), property tycoon Xu Jiayin is likened by some media to US President Donald Trump, having built his fortune on a real estate business that has blossomed under a mountain of debt.
