Eyeing elections, PM Najib presents budget with more spending to benefit public

KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Najib Razak will bump up spending by 6.5 per cent next year, with a large chunk going to subsidies and social assistance for Malaysians as his government prepares to face an election due by August.
