Rare pink diamond falls short of world record price, sells at $43 million in Hong Kong auction

HONG KONG (REUTERS) – A large oval-shaped diamond known as the “Pink Promise” was sold to an anonymous buyer for US$32 million (S$43 million) in Hong Kong on Tuesday (Nov 28), just short of shattering a world auction record.
