Myanmar workers who complained of labour abuses at Thailand chicken farm on trial for defamation

BANGKOK (AFP) – A Bangkok court began a defamation trial on Wednesday (Feb 7) against 14 Myanmar migrant workers who accused a Thai chicken farm of labour abuses, a case rights groups say is an effort to silence whistleblowers.
