Trial of Batam official who joined ISIS set to start in Indonesia

JAKARTA – The trial of a former Batam-based civil servant who left for Syria with his extended family two years ago to join the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is due to start on Tuesday (March 13) at a Jakarta court.
