BEIJING (AFP) – China could avoid nearly 94,000 premature deaths and save a whopping US$339 billion (S$448.97 billion) in health costs over the next 12 years by honouring its carbon reduction commitments under the Paris climate accord, a study showed on Monday (April 23).
