Australian court fines Apple A$9m over iPhone ‘bricking’ case

SYDNEY (REUTERS) – An Australian court fined US electronics giant Apple A$9 million (S$9 million) on Tuesday (June 19) after a regulator accused it of using a software update to disable iPhones which had cracked screens fixed by third parties.
