Landslides, flash floods as monsoon batters southern Myanmar

MAWLAMYINE, MYANMAR (AFP) – Flooding in southern Myanmar has caused a landslide at a famed Buddhist pagoda, submerged homes and displaced hundreds of people as monsoon rains batter the country.
