European planemaker Airbus closes in on $25 billion Chinese deal amid China-US trade spat

BEIJING/LONDON (BLOOMBERG) – China’s escalating trade war with the United States has revived prospects of a US$18 billion (S$25 billion) jet order from Airbus, with a high-powered delegation from the European planemaker seeking to seal the sale during a visit to Beijing, according to people familiar with the matter.
