BEIJING – China’s capture of Interpol ex-president Meng Hongwei may be in keeping with its methods for handling “tigers” (high-ranking officials) suspected of flagrant misbehaviour but the lack of due process may make it harder for Chinese nationals to take up global posts in the future, experts have said.
