Umno president Zahid calls for his party’s merger with long-time political enemy PAS

PASIR SALAK (Perak) – Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has called for a merger between his Malay nationalist party and its long-time political nemesis PAS, six months after the Umno-led Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition was ousted from power in national polls.
