Japan government, Fukushima operator told to pay $5.2 million over nuclear disaster

TOKYO (AFP) – A Japanese court Wednesday (Feb 20) awarded nearly 419.6 million yen (S$5.2 million) in fresh damages to scores of residents forced to flee their homes after the 2011 Fukushima nuclear meltdown.
