Pepsi withdraws Indian potato farmer lawsuits after political pressure

NEW DELHI (REUTERS) – PepsiCo has agreed to withdraw lawsuits against Indian potato farmers it alleged infringed a patent by cultivating a variety grown exclusively for its Lay’s potato chips.
