Australia creates photo ID database to help track terror suspects

SYDNEY (REUTERS) – Australian police will create a national photo database using existing identification records held by state authorities to identify terror suspects, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said on Thursday (Oct 5), fanning privacy concerns among rights groups.
